The dark emerald green would give a good kick of color to a dark gray or brown palette, or combine with coordinating patterns in shades of green for a bolder style.

This month I’ve been experimenting a little bit with process. I took this class taught by Marco Mazzoni and decided to try the process he shares with some botanical drawings.

Fall is my favorite season, and I’m finding myself more and more likely to want to fill my home with the warm browns, yellows and pinks of fall for the whole year. I designed this bedding collection with fall in mind.

This retro wallpaper is a cross between boho style with celestial moons and stars, and retro midcentury influence with geometric diamonds and rich colors.

I think it would look great in a study or play room!

The warm white neutrals in this boho moon wallpaper would be great in a minimal bedroom or bath, or combine with your favorite warm colors for an happy boho style.

Black and white is an excellent choice for a bathroom. The contrast will make the whole room feel clean and sharp. To soften it up a bit, try adding texture and pattern with an eco-friendly black and white wallpaper.

Here in this bedding collection I’ve pulled together sage green striped sheets, a dark emerald green boho butterfly duvet, pillows in coffee brown gingham, spotted shams, and dark green curtains.

Blue is a great color for a calm quiet room like a bedroom or a reading area, also great for baths.

And then I started drawing hares. I love their mischievous and chaotic energy, at any moment they might scurry away.

I was color swatching for a watercolor painting study recently and decided to pull together a few of my green patterns in similar colors to create a palette.

I’m always trying to improve and get my images closer to what I see in mind. This month I took Botanical Watercolor Painting taught by Helena Smyth at Domestika.

Here I’ve combined my butterfly wallpaper with a pattern I call riverbed made of abstract marks in navy blue on dark yellow, and a coffee brown watercolor gingham.

I’ve been wanting to do more botanical and floral patterns, and have been filling my sketchbook with lots of experiments with those subjects.

I created this creamy white all-over floral pattern for a fairly recent Spoonflower challenge. Would look great in a vintage styled cabin or cottage setting, or for anyone who loves pollinators!

I’ve been really into rusty shades of red. Lava red, brick red, terracotta, I love how much it warms up a room. These are my newest designs in warm shades of red.
